ReCo2gnition- Community Renewable Energy Generation

Are we investing in the correct technologies right now, and are we prioritising this investment?

Should it be Disruptive Technologies such as AI robots, Nuclear Energy, Space Age, Advanced Rail Networks or Innovative Renewable Energy such as Hydropower and Urban Wind Energy?
What technology investment takes precedence, as the global atmosphere increases its Oxygen Debt?
Should we invest in HS2 or Community Hydropower?

ReC02gnition- Urban Wind Energy Generation

The rapid growth of large-scale wind farm installations has now led to the generation of clean electricity for tens of millions of homes around the world. However, despite the potential to reduce the losses and costs associated with transmission and to use local wind acceleration techniques to improve energy yields, the potential for urban wind energy has yet to be realised.

ReCo2gnition- Excerpt from the story

Something that is central to my idea is the Coanda Effect, which is named after another genius, the Romanian scientist and pioneer Henri Coanda. This relates to the behaviour of gases and fluids and is the mechanism by which a stream of air sort of sticks itself to a flat roof as it passes over it.

ReCo2gnition’s scientific philosophy to change global economy

An Innovative Hydropower plant would not only create renewable energy from water, but also help curb rising flood water levels by creating a large scale flood defense and help local regional Sustainable Urban Drainage systems as well as create reservoirs for supply of water during future droughts around the country.

Hurricane Dorian- What is the true death toll?

if proved correct in verifying a more logical estimate of 45,000 deaths from Hurricane Dorian, then this would mean it would be a substantial increase in deaths from a hurricane in recent times by more than tenfold, and the largest death fatality by a hurricane of all time, by two fold. This would seriously imply that Climate change due to increases in ocean temperatures would be responsible for creating such a large amount of moisture in the air precipitated from the oceans over heating and more warm air rising than usual in more recent years!

ReCo2gnition- There is no Plan B!

There is growing evidence that the warming of the atmosphere and upper ocean, due to human activity such as burning fossil fuels, is making conditions ripe for fiercer, more destructive hurricanes. Climate breakdown is tinkering with hurricanes in a variety of ways. More moisture in the air means more rain, while storms are intensifying more quickly but often stalling once they hit land, resulting in torrential downpours that cause horrendous flooding.

Why a Stadium roof? Well, it is invariably the tallest roof with the largest surface area within an urban landscape relating to the principle that the higher the roof mounted turbine array is installed on a roof, the greater the potential to increase a higher wind yield from higher wind speeds being achieved at a higher height. Also apart from its usual architectural design conforming to a slightly inclined dome like shape which creates a coanda effect for wind blowing across it, giving a constant undisturbed wind yield from the turbines revolving installed on it, it is also less costly conceptually as there is no or little distribution cost being close to the end user.

ReCo2gnition- The Sator Square a portal for time travel

The SATOR square, uses it’s real life mysticism to fictitiously symbolise the mysticism and illusion of time travel in my Sci Fi story.
The SATOR Square is a remarkable ancient inscription found throughout the Roman Empire (1st to 4th Century ace) containing five words read as a perfect palindrome or mirror-like inscription, not only readable in forward and reverse, but also up and down. SATOR, AREPO, TENET, OPERA, and ROTAS are the five Latin voices whose arrangement, it’s believed, give the square its magical powers. There is the symbol of the Cross formed by the word TENET; the unusual sentence likely hiding the words of the Christians’ Jesus’ prayer, Pater Noster (Latin for Our Father)

ReCo2gnition- Real life research inspired my book

At the start of my career in construction whilst working on the redevelopment of the Gravesend Canal Basin as part of the Thames Gateway project in the UK in 2005, it was discovered that one of the locks was rediscovered under a disused car park. This gave me the idea that many disused brownfield sites could be used as specific new canal basin or extension to an existing canal basin purposefully built to help both flood defense through channelling the rising sea level into the canal basin and in the process creating hydroelectric power from the tide flowing in from the Thames estuary and into the canal basin.
