The third book picks up right where we left off the second, with Dr. Ben Richards opening his eyes after the fight with Shui Feng to find himself safe and the damage repaired. Following that, an android showed him a detailed presentation about history and told him about the consequences the world might face in the future. They then prepared him for his mission and sent him back in time, where he completed it.
The section that follows is truly remarkable, with the reader feeling as if the author has played an unexpected game with their minds. As revealed in the last chapter, the entire previous reading was about the treatment of Xia Feng’s ptsd, which was been cured by Dr Westcroft. All about her trauma of witnessing her mother’s death in front of her eyes, as well as the visions she has for her future, in which her mind travels through all the scenarios with the characters she desires. A therapy session in which a patient is hypnotised and lives out everything in their mind as a story.
The author did discuss the effects of climate change and its disastrous consequences, global warming, wind energy, and turbines. And, most notably, Dowson revealed about the recognition very deeply and powerfully with the character of Ben, who was the true survivor as he desired to be recognised by the world.
As the author wrote “Your own concept of time travel is your own spiritual journey, to enable you to find your own belief, identity and vision.” And that’s the real time when you realise that why this book series called Recognition. What an exceptional book series it is! Well done Mark Dowson.

The story resumes from where it was left off hanging on a cliffhanger in the 2nd book and all the answers we’ve been craving until now are finally offered to us. This book is an even blend of thrilling sci-fi, intriguing & awe-inspiring research, well-pondered over creative thoughts, with a pinch of romance thrown in.✨⚡
Throughout the book, the author stresses the importance of following a correct philosophy and how the salvation of the world relies on more creative visionary leaders + creative thinkers rather than motivational speakers. The book is filled with metaphors, themes & elements with hidden meanings and symbolism and I loved highlighting all the quote-worthy lines. The way the author draws parallels between the element of time travel & spiritual journey/development and shape-shifting with trauma, deserves all the praise it can possibly get. I had such a great time reading Dr. Richards’ interesting thoughts & astounding reflections and I can happily declare that it was infact my favourite part of the whole thrilling adventure.

One of my favourite sci fi series came to an end. And gosh what a brilliant way to conclude this series.
This book was exhilarating, it picked up from where the second book ended. I commend the author for his extensive research and also for conveying his research to us readers in such an entertaining manner. It bombards you with loads of information but you won’t get irritated at all. I thought this book only dealt with technology and global warming but it is so much more than that. It deals with grief and traumas as well. This book proved that no AI no matter how capable can ever replace humanity.
Ben Richards is hands down one of my favourite scientist in a book world. He is intelligent, passionate, smart and softy at heart as well. It was an amazing experience seeing his while journey throughout this series. And the ending sequence was penned down brilliantly. All the loose ends were tied in a brilliant manner. An unexpected ending it had.
Thanks to the insanely talented author for writing such a thought provoking series.
A must read for all the thrill loving scifi readers.
Ok so this is the final part of recognition and i waited for quite some time for this 😩 im so glad that it is out and i got the chance to read it 🥰 this part is so advanced and a bit different from the other 2 parts. 3rd part has so many details and answers of questions that i was unable to get in the first 2 parts 🤓 the author has a very unique writing style, he has revealed so many things slowly and gradually while incorporating all the details in the description. Finally I found out about Dr. Richards end and how he was fearless and powerful. His personality is literally my fav 😍 he’s such an innocent yet strong protagonist ✨ I love this trilogy and I highly highly recommend it to everyone out there 😊
This part is my favourite hands down. There are extensive explanations regarding how humans are destroying this Earth and how we can stop. The author has brought the attention of his readers towards this concept because we all are oblivious and can not understand otherwise. This part is so shocking and unexpected. A total rollercoaster of twists and turns. I loveddd it so much! Thank you Mark for writing this masterpiece.
The best part so far. I mean all parts were good but it kept getting better and better. The storyline, the plot twists and illustrations are top notch. It was a quick and easy read with amazing story and characters. Ben really impressed me in this part and I’m a fan. The series is written by an autistic author which is the bestest part! I urge you all to pick up this series asap and thank me later.
This book is not your ordinary scifi fantasy novel. It focuses on technology, future, saving the environment, saving humanity, emotions, trauma and so much more. There are illustrations that will make it more clear how GIATCOM will destroy the future and how Ben Richards wants to save it! The ending was a total blast! I was not expecting that final reveal. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and would definitely recommend it!!
This part took a complete U turn because it was so much different yet thrilling from the other two parts. I’m sad because the trilogy has ended (I was not ready to get over it yet) the interaction between ben and feng is the BEST SCENE EVER! I loved that part because that was the encounter I was waiting for. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and I hope to read more of Mark Dowson’s work.
Best series I’ve ever come across!! I loved the Ben Richards secret reveal and his interaction with Feng. I also loved the illustrations that better explain the whole environmental conditions. The illustrations throughout have impressed me greatly! The writing is super easy and it’s a fun read as well as a fun trilogy.
Brilliantly written piece of art!!! This series was more art than scifi. I love the scenes, the settings, the way author has described the area and time travel is just outstanding!! The characters are so well developed and the information is actually helpful because it’s eye opening and thought provoking!! Loveddd it!!!
This series honestly deserves more attention, recognition and promotion because it’s not some ordinary science fiction series. It is well researched, well written and well executed. The scenes are executed smoothly and in sequence. Everything is extraordinarily amazing and top notch. Loved every bit of it!
Incredibly amazing and so carefully crafted. I loved it from the beginning. The characters are nicely curated and the author has made sure to describe each character’s story, strengths and weaknesses in a sequential manner. A very unique and interesting read indeed. I highly recommend this series to everyone out there!!
This series was my perfect summer reads. I love it from the beginning and it kept getting better and better. I’m proud to say that this is the first 5 stars series I’ve read. The information, the description of technology, the fight, action and encounters, everything is top notch!! Highly recommended!
Last part is extremely different and unexpected. This part has so many major twists and turns which made the story 10x better and interesting. It concludes everything and at the end gives another major shock to the readers. What a page turner it was. So impressive! Thumbs up!
A perfect end to a perfect series. It kept getting better and better from the very beginning. I found every part better than the previous. This could definitely turn into a movie or a tv show. I would love to watch this amazing read turn into reality. Absolutely incredible!!!
Hypno-xia is the final book in Recognition series. It’s a dystopian futuristic thriller in year 2112 where UNA is trying to save the world. Our protagonist Dr. Richard Benjamin comes face to face with GIATCOM and battles with his own traumas as well. This book responds to all unanswered questions one may have from last 2 books. There were technical explanations, scientific revelations, and a mind blowing plot twist. I love how well researched this whole series was.
Talking about our protagonist Dr. Richards Benjamin, he was not flawless. He had his mistakes, traumas, complex emotions, thoughts and moments of sudden realizations which made him so real and relatable. I loved his character development and how he made peace with his own self. I liked how this book ended and everything was resolved.
Mark Dowson did a brilliant job portraying awful picture of future with whole planet destroyed, climate polluted, humans depressed and sick and everything in control of Androids. This is a very well attempt to make people realize the future we’re heading towards. Writer has talked about consequences of global warming, and climate change. This thought-provoking series helped me understand so much about nature, our planet, how we’re destroying them and why It’s high time we take necessary steps to save our only home. I’m really glad I got to read this series. So well written and focusing on something really important. Hats off to writer for doing an amazing job! 👏
