Mark Dowson’s final part of his climate change thriller trilogy is a mixture of subgenres of speculative fiction. Such as spiritual fiction, mystery, crime, and a psychological science fiction thriller, more so than the previous two parts. It reads independently as a stand-alone story on its own with its own separate philosophy, as does part one and two. However, ideally part 3 should be read as one whole trilogy, so that the overall philosophy is understood. It intertwines core mental health, climate change, and unique time travel concept themes.
